M-TECH Alfredo Ferrari
Maranello, Italy
M-TECH Alfredo Ferrari is conceived as an open, performative landscape for learning — a place where knowledge, community, and innovation converge.
The landscape unfolds a continuous system of plazas, gardens, patios and ecological devices that shapes climate, supports learning, and expresses Ferrari’s culture of excellence.
The school’s architecture — light, porous and transparent — is designed to be read through this landscape. Two longitudinal green patios bring air, light and vegetation into the building, improving environmental performance while enhancing wellbeing.
The entrance plaza is a civic threshold: shaded by a grid of trees, while the rear garden forms a green amphitheatre for everyday gathering. A climatic fountain becomes a dynamic environmental device, adapting mist, spray or ice to season and temperature, reinforcing comfort and creating a social magnet.
Permeable pavements, swales, preserved trees and high-performance planting mitigate heat, manage stormwater and reinforce ecological continuity.
M-TECH emerges as a landscape of excellence — where nature, technology and community accelerate each other.
